Denver Public Library’s Digital Transformation with PageRaft
The Denver Public Library (DPL) has long served its community with diverse programs and events across more than 27 facility locations, communicated through two monthly publications: “Engage” (in English) and “Conexiones” (in Spanish). Historically, these publications were available as printed copies in libraries and as PDFs on the website.
While functional, this format posed challenges with budget, sustainability, and accessibility. High printing costs and the library’s sustainability goals restricted the number of issues they could deliver to each location, limiting DPL’s ability to reach patrons. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 further hindered access, as patrons were unable to visit libraries to learn about available programs.
