We provide premium health insurance plans available to you on the 1st of the month after your hire date, with almost the entire premium covered by Nxtbook. Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options are also available.
Life & Disability Insurance
The life insurance is equal to one time your annual salary and premiums are 100% paid by us. Short & long-term disability covers 60% of salary while on disability and we pay 100% of your premiums. Additional supplemental insurances are also available.
Dental & Vision Insurance
All employees receive a 100% reimbursement for up to $200 of dental expenses and $250 for vision expenses. Then, 70% of expenses up to $1000 for dental and $1500 for vision are covered.
We reimburse for 80% of tuition expenses, up to $2,000 per calendar year! Plus, as an employee, you have free access to training videos and courses on Lynda.com so you can study in your leisure time if you prefer that method.
Full-time employees can join Nxtbook Media’s 401(k) plan immediately. You can make traditional or Roth contributions, which are immediately vested at 100%. We also offer a discretionary annual match based on the financial performance of the company.
To help you stay motivated and achieve your fitness goals, we will reimburse up to $250 per calendar year toward various wellness opportunities. This can be used for races, clothing, shoes or equipment, whatever it takes to get you moving and staying fit!
Paid Time Off
Every full-time employee will accumulate paid time off (PTO) on a monthly basis to be used for vacation, sick, or personal use. First-year employees accrue 21 days of PTO in their first full calendar year. On top of that, we provide 9 paid holidays each calendar year.
Family Fun Day
Take the day off and do something fun with your family! Each employee gets one day off and $250 in spending money.
It’s your birthday and you deserve an extra day off. The best part is you can use it all year long. This is available to any employee that completes at least 2 hours of approved community service.
Full-time employees can use up to 4 hours of flex time per week giving you an opportunity to be away from the office during normal business hours for things like personal appointments and events.
After 5, 10, and 15 years of service, enjoy a well-deserved sabbatical (in addition to your PTO). At 15 years, you’ll also receive an additional stipend to spend during your time off.
Employee Assistance Program
This is available to you and your family. It provides 6 sessions per family member of confidential counseling services for any personal issues that may arise. We pay 100% of any services provided.
