Here’s a great link about 7 performance metrics that matter most. It’s terrific, and it talks about engagement time, ROI, etc…. all those things your customers should be talking about when you’re letting them talk about page views. Don’t let them do that! It’s silly for two reasons:
1) It doesn’t play to the strengths of your digital magazine. Your digital magazine absolutely delivers on what matters the most, so that’s where you want to channel your energies!
2) It’s vitally important that you really help your advertisers understand that they are not publishers. Page views will not help them. Engaged leads do. Keep the conversation there!
