John Wiley & Sons

Digital catalogs provide businesses and publishers with the ability
to create a smooth purchasing process from start to finish.

Take John Wiley & Sons, a business that sells professional publications. They know that while pundits say not to judge a book by its cover, images really do help the sale. Where print layout limits extra images, John Wiley & Sons created a scrollable window on the cover page which showed extra pictures without skewing their design.

For interested buyers looking for more information, John Wiley & Sons created animated icons which give a teaser when the cursor scrolls over and comprehensive information if the customer clicks on it. This keeps buyers in the digital catalog and not bouncing out to other sites for more information.

Finally, they allow for a painless checkout process for customers using the digital catalog. When a reader decides to purchase a book, they simply click the shopping cart icon to add it to the embedded shopping cart. The reader can continue to shop and add more products to the cart, or they can click to check out at any time.

Key Advantage: A smooth purchasing process – from first sight to final purchase – creates a positive environment for the reader and strong returns for your business.
