GA Tech FutureMedia Fest

Bringing tomorrow’s technology to today’s show attendees.

With a name like “FutureMedia Fest,” it should come as no surprise that Georgia Tech wanted a show brochure that would look very different than tried and true event collateral. But in the end, the final nxtbook did more than just offer up simple biographies and agendas.

Early on, the show organizers decided that since this particular brochure would be digital-only, there was no need to have a layout and design that was intended for print, so font style and choices were chosen for screen-reading friendliness.

From there, copious amounts of speaker video footage was inserted. After all, what better way to sell the quality of your speakers than using the actual speakers?

Finally, nxtbook incorporated a cutting-edge interactive show agenda. This piece allowed readers to easily plan their own schedule, but amazingly, it also enabled them to see which attendees were also going to the same programs. This was an amazing way to encourage networking, while serving as a convenient organizational tool for all attendees.
